Serge Ladouceur CSC studied filmmaking at the London International Film School, then worked his way up from assistant cameraman at the CBC to camera operator and director of photography on international miniseries, series, and feature films.
Serge shot 320 episodes of the long-standing series Supernatural in Vancouver for Warner Brothers; an impressive experience. On Supernatural, he also served as co-producer and occasional director.
Over the years, Serge won and was nominated for several awards including an ASC nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography for The Case of the Whitechapel Vampire in the Movies of the Week/Mini-Series’/Pilot category.
In 1997, he won the CSC Award for Best Theatrical Feature Cinematography for La Nuit du Déluge (Night of the Flood). He also earned a Genie nomination for this work.
Serge is dedicated to his art and pleasant to work with, always maintaining an aura of calm.
