Robert Scarborough

ROB SCARBOROUGH, CSC is an award winning cinematographer that has been working in Canada and internationally for over twelve years. His healthy blend of narrative, documentary, and commercial work have made him one of the most interesting cinematographers in the country.

Rob’s feature film work includes ROOM FOR RENT (starring Brett Gelman, Stephnie Weir, Carla Gallo and Mark McKinney), THE DEFINITES, YOUR BEAUTIFUL CUL DE SAC HOME, and b-unit cinematography on NO STRANGER THAN LOVE (starring Alison Brie, Colin Hanks and Justin Chatwin). He was DP on an array of TV shows, such as BARONESS VON SKETCH SHOW, WHATEVER, LINDA as others for History Channel, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.

Most recently his commercial for the brand 18 Waits received a CSC award for best commercial cinematography. Another project Sessions X garnered him another nomination the following year. His thirteen camera Imagine Dragons’ “Smoke and Mirrors: Live in Toronto” Blu Ray project received wide acclaim and praise from fans and critics around the world. In the UK the film garnered a nomination from the UK Music Video Awards in the category for Best Live Coverage.

With his variety of experience, Rob continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be a visual story teller in all areas of the industry.
