Colin Hoult csc has worked in the film and television industry for over 30 years, beginning as a camera assistant at the age of 18, and has helped create hundreds of hours of television and feature films as a DP and camera operator. Based in Toronto, Colin’s recent credits as DP include UTAP (Untitled Arnold Schwarzenegger Project), Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities and Locke and Key for Netflix, Chucky for NBCUniversal, Star Trek: Discovery for CBS, Designated Survivor for ABC, Impulse for YouTube Red, FX network’s The Strain, Freeform’s Shadowhunters, NBCU’s Covert Affairs and Suits, and Europacorp’s XIII: The Series. He has been nominated for a Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC) Award for his work on The Strain, and has won two CSC awards for previous projects. He is represented by Barbara Halperin at the Gersh Agency in Los Angeles.
