Mitchell T. Ness

With more than 35 years of experience in the film and television industry, Mitchell T. Ness CSC is a distinguished Director and Director of Photography whose career spans feature films, MOW’s, hundreds of episodes of series television and documentary films and series. Known for his versatility, technical expertise, and creative vision, Mitch has established himself as a leading figure in both visual storytelling and directing.

As a Director of Photography, Mitch has photographed over 550 episodes of television series. His DOP credits include the critically acclaimed The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh (Amazon Prime), the TUBI features If I Go Missing and Twin Lies, as well as the award-winning feature film Amal. His extensive television credits feature a variety of beloved series such as The Next Step, Skins USA, Degrassi, Overlord and the Underwoods, Holly Hobbie, Covert Affairs, Republic of Doyle, and The Latest Buzz.

In addition to his extensive work behind the camera, Mitch is also an accomplished director, having helmed over 180 episodes of series television. His directing portfolio includes projects such as My Husband’s Mistress (TUBI feature), The Next Step, Covert Affairs, Holly Hobbie, Make It Pop, Lost & Found Music Studios, Wingin’ It, Overruled, Naturally Sadie, The Latest Buzz, and Black Hole High.
