ANDRÉ PIENAAR CSC SASC André’s devotion as an artist and his appetite for exploration and the unknown leads him to work on an impressively diverse range of projects. His minimal, nuanced character studies like Len and Company, period pieces – Almost America and The Winning Season, visceral dance dramas such as Aaliyah and How She Move, and his work on series such as The Mist (for which he shot all episodes), reveal his broad range of style and mastery of technique. André’s beginnings in South Africa were at the cusp of a new film and television industry, shooting features, TV and political documentaries. A dedicated collaborator, his sensitivity and intuition coupled with a command of his craft is something he brings to every project.
